Following his Court Martial Conviction, he spent more than two years incarcerated in Millbank, Pentonville & Portland Prisons, prior to Transportation to Australia .Refer Police Gazette 6 September 1876. Went to Adelaide, South Australia in 01/1885. Admitted to Adelaide Lunatic Asylum on 19/04/1890.
