He was Self-Employed whilst on Ticket of Leave. He employed 3 Ticket of Leave Men in 1867- 1868 and was a Land & Stock Owner at St. Johns Brook. Went to Calcutta, India on 08/12/1886 and became Superintendent of Police. He visited Western Australia in 1879 & 1885. Wife Catherine & 2 sons in poor house 1886. ( Refer WABI Cards ).
